The warm water has excellent swell for surfing and the beach is patrolled by life guards all year round. The beach itself is a haven for sunbathers for basking in the sun or maybe challenge your friends to a game of beach volleyball, experiencing a range of thrilling water sports or relax and take in a movie at the beach cinema.

There are also many restaurants, night clubs and bars to experience the nightlife or head into the lively Cavill Mall, with its colourful shopping, cafes and quirky entertainment.
